Considerations
- Consider how these items will be cleaned, stored and shared for reuse.
- Choose items that are made from recycled content, made in Australia and can be recycled at their end of life.
- When purchasing, ask the supplier to send items with minimal and non-plastic packaging. Request that paper and cardboard packaging are either certified under recognised forest certification scheme (e.g. FSC or PEFC) or made from recycled content. Check with the supplier if the packaging can then be reused or recycled.
